Asha Karippot MD

Dr. Asha Karippot joined Cancer Treatment Centers of America (CTCA) in Tulsa, Oklahoma, in July 2017. She is an experienced oncologist and is board certified in internal medicine, medical oncology, and hematology. As a Medical Oncologist and Hematologist at CTCA, Dr. Karippot sees patients diagnosed with a variety of cancer types while focusing on those with gastrointestinal cancers, hematologic malignancies, neuroendocrine tumors and breast, and lung cancer.

Dr. Karippot believes in educating her patients while developing an integrative treatment plan tailored to each individual. “Working together with other doctors and supportive care clinicians, all under one roof provides seamless care for our patients,” she says. “This helps increase the quality of life and may make them feel more secure, comfortable, and confident throughout their treatment journey.”

Dr. Karippot completed her medical degree at the Calicut Government Medical College in Kerala, India, graduating summa cum laude. In 2008, she completed an internship and residency in internal medicine at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York City. Dr. Karippot then served as a chief fellow while completing a fellowship in hematology and oncology at Seton Hall University in New Jersey.
