Arun Ravindran MBBS, PhD, FRCP(C), FRCPsych

Dr. Arun Ravindran is a Full Professor and Director of Global Mental Health and the Office of Fellowship Training for the Department of Psychiatry, University of Toronto. He is cross-appointed as Graduate Faculty in the Institute of Medical Sciences, University of Toronto, and is also a Senior Scientist in the Campbell Family Mental Health Research Institute at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health, where he is also the interim Physician in Chief.

Dr. Ravindran’s clinical and research interest is in the area of mood and anxiety disorders, and his research focus covers the range of pharmacological, psychological, neurobiological and complementary medicine investigations. He has held or currently holds grant funding from national and international agencies. He is also a recipient of the Donald A. Wasylenki Award for international partnerships, education, and social responsibility from the Department of Psychiatry, University of Toronto. He is also actively involved in capacity-building and humanitarian global mental health projects.
