Arturo Jimenez Sanchez obtained the title of Chemical Engineer from the National Polytechnic Institute (IPN) in 2009, and the degree of Doctor of Science in 2014 from the Center for Research and Advanced Studies of the IPN. He completed a postdoctoral stay at the UNAM Faculty of Chemistry under the direction of Prof. Anatoly Yatsimirsky in 2014-2016 and was a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Toronto in 2016-2017 under the direction of Prof. Shana O. Kelley. He has also completed two short research stays in France, at the École Normale Supérieure de Cachan in Paris and at the Laboratoire de Chimie de Coordination in Toulouse. He has participated in several international conferences including two Gordon Research Conferences on Bioanalytical Sensors (2014) and Artificial Molecular Switches & Motors (2017). Since September 2017 he has been an Associate Researcher 'C' in the Department of Organic Chemistry of the UNAM Chemistry Institute.
