Arturo Natali PhD

Arturo N. Natali is a professor of industrial bioengineering at the Faculty of Engineering, University of Padova, and the head of the Centre of Mechanics of Biological Materials, University of Padova. He has written many articles pertaining to the mechanics of biological materials, with particular regard to the formulation of numerical methods addressed to the analysis of the biomechanical behavior of hard and soft tissues. He is the chairman of international conferences on tissue mechanics and biomechanics, a member of the editorial board of international journals, an invited speaker in international meetings and foreign universities, and an honorary professor. His research interests include biomechanics, mechanics of materials, and bioengineering, based on international projects pertaining to the mechanics of biological tissues with a direct connection with industrial applications.
