Arturo Alezzandrini MD, PhD

Arturo Alezzandrini graduated as a physician from the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Buenos Aires. He began his training in his specialty at the Pedro Lagleyze Ophthalmological Hospital in Buenos Aires. He subsequently completed fellowships at Cornell University (New York, USA) and the Duke Eye Center (North Carolina, USA). He earned his Doctor of Medicine degree. He was later appointed Adjunct Professor of Ophthalmology at the University of Buenos Aires, a position he currently holds. He is considered a global opinion leader in his specialty, having given lectures at various national and international forums.
