Artur Zembowicz MD, PhD

Dr. Zembowicz is the Principal Consultant and Founder of DermatopathologyConsultations.com. He is a Professor of Anatomic and Clinical Pathology at Tufts Medical School and a Senior Dermatopathology Consultant at Lahey Clinic, Burlington, MA.

He trained in Anatomic Pathology at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston and graduated in 1999 from Harvard Dermatopathology Combined Fellowship, where he studied dermatopathology with Drs. Raymond Barnhill, Phillip McKee, and Dr. Martin C. Mihm Jr.

In 1999-2007 he served as an attending physician in the dermatopathology, head and neck pathology (with Dr. Ben Z. Pilch, M.D.) and ophthalmic pathology (with Dr. Thaddeus Dryja, M.D. and Frederic Jacobiec, M.D.) at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. He served as a Director of the Harvard Dermatopathology Update CME Course. At MGH, he assisted Dr. Martin C. Mihm Jr in his consultation practice and later developed his own second opinion consultation practice in the skin, head, and neck, ophthalmic and oral pathology.
