Artie Matthys RPh, BS

Artie Matthys, RPh, BS, graduated from the University of Houston SOP in 1972. He owned and operated an independent retail practice for several years in Wharton, Texas and worked in retail with Safeway and Walgreen stores in Colorado for 6 years. Artie joined the PCCA team as a member in 1985 and in 1986 became the first full-time in-store trainer. In 1991 he was instrumental in bringing the training session in house which now sees over 1000 pharmacists, technicians, students, marketing representatives each year attend the various classed offered.
