Arti Kapil MBBS, MD

Dr. Arti Kapil, MBBS, MD, is a Professor at All India Institute of Medical Sciences. She is the chief of the clinical bacteriology laboratory, co-chair Hospital Infection control committee, and chairperson committee for the “ Formulation of uniform antibiotic policy at AIIMS Hospital”. The laboratory performs antimicrobial susceptibility and performs various phenotypic and molecular techniques for the characterization of antimicrobial resistance amongst bacterial pathogens. The laboratory is a Nodal center for surveillance of Antimicrobial resistance in Salmonella under the ICMR-funded project on the AMR surveillance network.

Her research interests are Microbiology, Infectious Diseases, Antibiotics, and Immunology.
