Dr. Arshya Vahabzadeh has been recognized as a national leader in medical innovation and digital health. He is the Innovation officer at the Massachusetts General Hospital Psychiatry Academy, and he is also the Director of Digital Health for an autism technology company, Brain Power. His expertise and accomplishments have led to over 20 national and international awards in medical leadership, healthcare innovation, behavioral neurosciences, communication, and global health.

Dr. Vahabzadeh is triple trained in family medicine, psychiatry, and pediatric psychiatry. He is the Chairperson of the Council on Communications of the American Psychiatric Association, and the former editor-in-chief of the American Journal of Psychiatry Residents Journal. His academic work, research, commentaries, and thoughts have appeared in high impact medical journals and authoritative texts in neurobiology. He research has spanned genetics, social neuroscience, experimental psychopharmacology, and neurotechnology.

He graduated from the University of Birmingham Medical School and subsequently completed a residency in family medicine under the Royal College of General Practitioners. He then completed psychiatric training with residencies in psychiatry and child psychiatry at Emory University and Massachusetts General Hospital/McLean/Harvard Medical School respectively.
