Dr Antonysamy is a Consultant Psychiatrist and Clinical Network Director at Lancashire Care Foundation Trust. She trained in Lancashire Care Trust and Manchester Mental Health and Social Care Trust in General Adult Psychiatry and in substance misuse and perinatal psychiatry. She was awarded the ‘Rethink Academic prize’ by the Manchester Medical society in 2008 for her research project in the mother and baby unit at Wythenshawe hospital looking into patients’ satisfaction and unmet needs.
