Arjan Bredenoord MD, PhD

Dr Bredenoord followed his education as MDL doctor at Antonius Hospital Nieuwegein, Barts and London Hospital in London and AMC Amsterdam. He has been active for more than 10 years in the field of benign gastrointestinal diseases such as achal disease, reflux disease and eosinophilic esophagitis. In his dissertation (2006) he describes new techniques for measuring reflux and motility in the esophagus. There is currently no other doctor in the Netherlands who is visited by so many patients with benign esophageal diseases. In his research, he tries to make a bridge between knowledge in the hospital and laboratory research.
