Arif Mahmud MBBS

Dr. Arif Mahmud is an adorned Hospital Administrator for last 20 years. Dr. Arif Mahmud is currently Heading the Medical Services Department of Apollo hospitals Dhaka, Bangladesh ( the first and only JCI accredited in the country). Dr. Arif is responsible for implementing Clinical Excellence, Clinical governance, Clinical risk reduction program across the hospital.
Dr. Arif plays a vital role in developing Annual Strategic Plan, Business plan, Capital items requirement plan of hospital. Dr. Arif Mahmud is actively involved in Medical Staffs Credentialing and Privileging process, Performance management of Medical and allied staffs. Dr. Mahmud has completed his MBBS from Dhaka Medical College in 1995 & then he did Master in Hospital Management from NIPSOM under Dhaka University. He did his post graduate diploma in Disaster Management from Thailand and post graduate coarse in health care financing & HRH from North South University.
Dr. Mahmud underwent in different executive training on different aspects of Hospital Operation in USA, Singapore, Malaysia, India etc. He attended lot of conferences and seminars in country & abroad. Dr. Arif is guest lecturer of the Masters in Hospital Management program of the Dhaka University and other private Universities of the city.
