Ariane Gomes PhD

Ariane Cruz Gomes is a biologist specializing in immunology and vaccine development and holds a PhD in Clinical Medicine from the University of Oxford. Her expertise spans the development, characterization, and testing of novel vaccine platforms and adjuvants for effective vaccine development, with 6 vaccines developed through pre-clinical at the University of Oxford’s Jenner Institute. Prior to Baseimmune, Ariane was a postdoctoral researcher at the University College London working on establishing protective antigens in a vaccine against Cytomegaloviruses. As the CSO of Baseimmune, Ariane is responsible for the scientific strategy, company strategy, and operations.
