Dr. Ari Mintz is a board-certified interventional cardiologist and vascular medicine specialist with Atlantic Medical Group Cardiology at Hackettstown. He has extensive fellowship training in multiple areas including cardiovascular medicine, interventional cardiology, as well as both noninvasive and interventional vascular medicine. With a broad knowledge base in all aspects of cardiac disease, Dr. Mintz’s special interest is in vascular medicine, focusing on the circulatory system outside of the heart.
With expertise in the most advanced techniques in minimally invasive surgery and interventional procedures to treat cardiac and vascular diseases, Dr. Mintz approaches patient care with the goal of maximizing their ability to maintain an active and energetic lifestyle. In addition, he is committed to improving the lives of patients in underserved areas around the globe. He has traveled on medical service trips to Mexico, Nigeria, and Haiti. He is a member of the American Osteopathic Association, American Medical Association, and the Society for Vascular Medicine, and is a fellow of the Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions (FSCAI), and a fellow of the American College of Cardiology (FACC).
After earning his medical degree from Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine, Dr. Mintz completed his residency at the Lahey Hospital and Medical Center in Burlington, MA, followed by completing four fellowships in sub-specialty disciplines of cardiology. He is board-certified in internal medicine, vascular medicine, cardiovascular medicine, and interventional cardiology. He also holds board certification as a registered physician in vascular interpretation (RPVI). He has published research and written extensively on the manifestations of vascular disease.
