Ari D. Brooks MD, MPH

Dr. Butler completed his medical degree and general surgery residency at the University of Virginia School of Medicine, and his post-doctoral research fellowship at Stanford University. While in California, Dr. Butler also obtained a master's degree in public health (MPH) at the University of California-Berkeley. Subsequently, he completed a Plastic Surgery residency at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, where he most recently served as Chief Resident.

Dr. Butler's clinical interests include breast reconstruction, abdominal wall reconstruction, limb salvage and extremity reconstruction/scar/wound management, and aesthetic surgery. His focus in cosmetic surgery includes breast augmentation, breast lifts, abdominoplasty, buttock augmentation/body contouring, and facial aesthetics. Having received his MPH in the field of health policy and management, Dr. Butler also plans to contribute to the issues of surgical education, health care policy, and the provision of care to the underserved. Dr. Butler is board certified in surgery. He sees patients at Penn Medicine Washington Square and Penn Medicine Cherry Hill.
