Ari Borthakur PhD, MBA

Ari Borthakur is a Wharton MBA and the University of Pennsylvania Med Ph.D. scientist with 20 years of experience leading teams to solve complex biomedical problems. His work has resulted in internationally recognized contributions to science and medicine and his inventions have been used clinically worldwide. He is currently the operational leader of the nation's first organization dedicated to leveraging innovative business models in order to add value to the field of radiology by improving efficiency, revenue, and patient outcomes. He co-lead Penn's Imaging Appropriate Use Criteria program mandated by CMS to ensure the appropriate use of imaging services for the patient's condition in order to help reduce unnecessary care and costs.
