Arek Kaczmarek MSc

Arek Kaczmarek is Executive Director of Data Engineering and Operations at Providence St Joseph Health Services. He is responsible for all data engineering aspects of the platform at PSJH and works with internal and external customers on providing data solutions. His teams currently work on migrating on-premises data workflows to the cloud and on creating an enterprise cloud data warehouse and a data lake to enable ML and AI.

Prior to joining PSJH, Arek worked at a number of data-driven companies, such as Amazon, Expedia, and Playstation, where he implemented big data technologies, often working with cloud solutions and providers. Prior to joining PSJH, Arek worked at a start-up company where he created a number of commercial video analytics products offered as SaaS in the cloud to enterprise customers, such as telcos and video streaming companies. He lives in San Diego, CA.
