Dr. Sadhu completed her undergraduate studies at the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA) with a Bachelor of Science degree in Physiological Science with Suma Cum Laude honors. She then obtained her medical degree at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA, also with honors and was inducted as a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. Subsequently, she completed her internship, residency training in Internal Medicine and fellowship training in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Hypertension at UCLA.

Dr. Sadhu has been board certified in Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism since 2004. She was also the Director of the Inpatient Diabetes Program at the Ronald Reagan Medical Center where she focused on improving the management of patients with diabetes in the hospital. In 2010, she joined the faculty at Houston Methodist in the Division of Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism and is currently the Director of Houston Methodist System Diabetes Management Program and Director of Transplant Endocrinology. She holds faculty appointments in Weill Cornell Medical College, Institute for Academic Medicine and Texas A&M Health Sciences Center. Her career focus is to improve outcomes of all patients with diabetes and related metabolic conditions by using evidence-based clinical protocols to deliver high quality, comprehensive and cost-efficient care.
