Aravinda Kar PhD

Professor Aravinda Kar, Ph.D. has established a Laser-Aided Manufacturing and Materials Processing laboratory in CREOL, The College of Optics and Photonics at the University of Central Florida. He has been working on various aspects of laser materials processing and manufacturing for more than 30 years. He is a Fellow of the National Academy of Inventors and a Fellow of the Laser Institute of America. He has co-authored a book entitled, Theory and Application of Laser Chemical Vapor Deposition, with J. Mazumder.
