Aravind Srinivasan MS, MBA

Dr. Aravind Srinivasan holds a Post Graduate Surgical Degree in ophthalmology from M. G. R. University and a Masters of Business Administration in Finance from University of Michigan. Having worked in the medical field, he had a passion for management; so, after his MBA, he took over as the Administrator of Aravind Eye Care System and has been instrumental in bringing changes to the various facets of the organization.
Currently, he serves as Director- Projects at Aravind Eye Care System and CMO Aravind Eye Hospitals Chennai. He is also involved in teaching eye health management courses leading to capacity building, training, research activities and research administrators. He has presented in numerous International Conferences about the “Aravind Model” of high volume, high quality, cost effective eye care. Aravind is also a visiting faculty of Indian Institute of Management and Indian School of Business and a Mentor for the MBA students of Wharton School of Business, University of Michigan.
