April Scholey MFDS, RCS

Dr April Scholey is a highly motivated and hardworking individual, who prides herself on delivering high-quality, evidence-based care to her patients. She studied in Sheffield, UK, and graduated with honors in 2011. She furthered herself academically by completing her MFDS exam, along with a Diploma in Restorative Dentistry from the Royal College of Surgeons. Dr. Scholey is now a mentor on the MSc in Restorative Dentistry at the University of Manchester, where she teaches postgraduate students concepts in occlusion and skills associated with this.

In 2019 Dr. Scholey decided to further her own restorative skills and started learning implantology at the prestigious BAIRD academy. She has since concentrated on developing her knowledge on this subject by being involved in the ITI ( International Team of Implantologists) and their study groups. Alongside cosmetic dentistry, Dr. Scholey has also been offering her patients advanced facial aesthetics for the past 5 years. She is part of a study group of other like-minded practitioners who want to achieve natural enhancements to faces. She loves creating natural results by making subtle aesthetic tweaks. Her treatment plans are aimed at a ‘less is more’ approach to ensure beautiful understated results.

Dr. Scholey has quite a few hobbies outside of dentistry. Being a Yorkshire Lass, it won’t shock you to hear that she loves the great outdoors. She loves cycling, running, hiking & sailing, and regularly taking out her VW campervan for weekends away enjoying the fresh air. Dr. Scholey has an interest in all restorative dentistry, dental implants, treatment of TMD, Invisalign, and facial aesthetics. We look forward to welcoming you to the practice.
