Anupama Subramony MD, MBA, FAAP

Dr. Anupama Subramony is an experienced, innovative, results-driven, nationally recognized executive with years of success driving system-wide improvements in patient safety, performance improvement, and regulatory affairs in academic, and health systems. She is regionally and nationally recognized for developing and implementing strategy and change through cross-functional, multi-disciplinary teams across the care continuum and across care sites including inpatient, surgical and ambulatory sites. Most recently, she has led quality and safety initiatives across Northwell for the pediatric service line, integrating multiple clinical sites with a focus on standardization to create a seamless experience for patients and families across Northwell for pediatrics.

She is a graduate of Yale University, Vanderbilt Medical School, and Owen School of Business. She completed a residency in pediatrics at Vanderbilt Children's Hospital and is board certified in general pediatrics and pediatric hospital medicine. Her passions are on harnessing the power of families and engaging patients and families to promote patient safety. She loves exploring new foods and playing tennis.
