Antony Thottian MD, MBBS

Dr. Antony George Francis Thottian is an alumnus of the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIMS), New Delhi; the premier institute of Medicine in the country. After his graduation, he also did his postgraduation from the same institute in Radiation Oncology. He then did his DM in Medical Oncology at Kidwai Memorial Institute of Oncology. He has an experience of six years in the field of cancer treatment.

He is specialized to treat all kinds of cancers – lung cancer, breast cancer, kidney cancer, liver cancer, gastrointestinal cancers, bone cancers, sarcomas, gynecological cancers, and other cancers.

He has experience in treating patients with newer therapies like immunotherapy and targeted therapy, which are non-chemotherapy approaches for patients with cancer.

His focus is on treating metastatic cancers (Stage 4 Cancers) with immunotherapy. Immunotherapy is a treatment in which patients' own immune system is stimulated to attack cancer and achieve disease control and cure.

His research work is mainly on lung and gastrointestinal cancers and they have been published in scientific journals and presented at international cancer conferences. He is also a member of various oncology societies like ESMO (European Society of Medical Oncology) and AROI (Association of Radiation Oncologists of India).
