Antonio Del Casale MD, PhD

Antonio Del Casale, M.D., Ph.D., is Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at Sapienza University, Rome. Staff psychiatrist at Sant’Andrea University Hospital of Rome, Director of the Personalized Mental Health Service.

His principal research interests relate to biological psychiatry and neuroscience (with particular reference to neuroimaging and transcranial magnetic stimulation techniques), psychopharmacology and personalized medicine, sleep medicine, psychiatric rehabilitation, and forensic psychiatry. Lecturer in Clinical Psychiatry, Neuroimaging in Psychiatry, and Forensic Psychiatry, Sapienza University, Rome.

Dr. Del Casale's clinical practice is focused on personalized treatments of affective disorders. He also works in the field of forensic psychiatry. Dr. Del Casale is the author of more than 100 scientific publications in peer-reviewed journals. Coeditor of a scientific treatise entitled "Sleep Medicine: Clinical Practice" (New York, Nova Science Publisher 2013). Author of several book chapters.
