Dr. Antonio Creta is a consultant cardiologist & electrophysiologist at the Barts Heart Centre (London, UK), which is one of the largest cardiac centers in Europe.
He qualified from the Campus Bio-Medico University of Rome in 2011. After undergoing his specialty training in Cardiology in Italy, he moved to London where he completed a fellowship in cardiac electrophysiology & devices at the Barts Heart Centre. He was then appointed as a consultant in 2020, becoming one of the youngest consultant electrophysiologists in the United Kingdom.
He completed a Research Doctorate Programme at the Campus Bio-Medico University of Rome and he is currently a MSc student at the London School of Economics and Political Science (Health Economics, Outcomes and Management in Cardiovascular Sciences Programme).
His research interests are Cardiology, Electrophysiology, Cardiovascular Sciences, Heart Failure, Congenital Heart Defects, Coronary Artery Disease, and Valvular Heart Disease.
