Dr. Antonia Morita Iswari Saktiawati, MD, Ph.D., is a Clinician and Lecturer at the Department of Internal Medicine, Faculty of Medicine, Public Health and Nursing at the Gadjah Mada University. She is also a researcher at the Center for Tropical Medicine UGM. Her current research focuses on pulmonology and infectious diseases, particularly tuberculosis.
For her research works, she has received several notable awards, including the Science Leadership Collaborative Award from The Conversation Indonesia in 2022, the Long-Term Research Fellowship Award from the European Respiratory Society in 2021, the Rising Star Award at the 7th International Workshop on Lung Health, Prague in 2020, the Best Young Scientist Award from Center for Tropical Medicine UGM in 2020, and the Faculty for The Future Award from Schlumberger in 2014.
Dr. Antonia holds a Medical Doctor from UGM, a Graduate Certificate in International Public Health from the University of New South Wales, Australia, and a Ph.D. in Tuberculosis from the University of Groningen, The Netherlands. Dr. Antonia is a member of the WHO-AIC Health Rapid Review Network.
