Dr. Roggio attended the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. He began a residency in Emergency Medicine at New York Presbyterian Hospital and completed training at the University of Maryland Medical Center, becoming Residency Chief and completing an Emergency Department Administration Fellowship. Dr. Roggio is Board Certified in Emergency Medicine by the American Board of Emergency Medicine.
Dr. Roggio is the current Assistant Director of Emergency Medicine at the University of Maryland Medical Center Midtown Campus, and is the Director of Telehealth for the University of Maryland Department of Emergency Medicine, acting as the Clinical Director of UMEM TeleTriage and TeleSNF. Dr. Roggio also serves as Chair of UMMC Midtown Hospital's Medical Staff Quality Committee as well as the UMMC Midtown Hospital Opioid Task Force.
