Anthony Mazzatto BSc, DMD, Dip. Perio

Dr. Anthony Mazzatto received his dental degree from the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia after obtaining a Bachelor of Science in Biology. Following that he completed a general practice residency at Eastman Dental Center and the University of Rochester Medical Center in Rochester, New York. After some time in private general practice he returned to university and completed the Postgraduate Periodontics Specialty Program at the University of Toronto and received his Periodontal Specialty Certificate. While there he also completed a thesis on retrieving and evaluating the published periodontal literature. He was Head of Periodontics at Toronto General Hospital for 10 years where he provided and oversaw periodontal treatment for compromised patients and also lectured on and supervised the hospital residents in advanced periodontal therapy.
