Anthony Griffiths

Dr. Anthony Griffiths, graduated from Cardiff in 1996 with several honours and awards. He is a consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist at the University Hospital of Wales teaching hospital with specialist interests in minimal access surgery, endometriosis and intertility. He provides care for women with endometriosis as part of multidisciplinary tertiary referral centre for endometriosis for all of Wales. His gynaecological practice is also focused upon providing assisted conception treatments and minimal access surgical treatments for infertility in IVF Wales.
He has extensive training and experience in minimal access surgery for endometriosis in Cardiff, Surrey University and also internationally in Atlanta USA. He holds the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists certificate in minimal access surgery and assisted conception. He has also completed minimal access surgery training to master's level. I teach advanced minimal access surgery through the Welsh Institute of Minimal Access Surgery, Royal College courses and internationally through the University of Athens.
He is known for having a very down to earth approach and believe communication and accessibility are vital to deliver first rate healthcare. I believe in providing an individualised, evidence based patient centred service.
