Tony Vuturo’s professional career includes experience in the U.S. government, U.S. State Department, the private sector, and the University of Arizona College of Medicine. He started Coordinated Home Health and the Arizona Graduate Program in Public Health, which in 1998 became the Mel & Enid Zuckerman College of Public Health. Tony is Senior Vice President of Canyon Ranch Health Resorts with responsibilities that include new project development, philanthropy oversight, and liaison with medical research centers and universities throughout the United States.

Tony’s accomplishments include co-founder University Famli-Care, a federally qualified Health Maintenance Organization (HMO) and University Home Health, a Medicare-approved Home Health Care Agency as well as CEO of a multi-site, university-based group practice of primary care providers. He has played leadership roles in the establishment of the College of Public Health at the University of Arizona, the Nanjing American University in Nanjing, China, and numerous medical schools in the Middle East. He was instrumental in the development of the Distant Learning and Telemedicine Programs at the University of Arizona Health Sciences Center.
