Anthony Caragiulo, Ph.D., is a scientific leader and genomics expert with extensive experience advancing research operations, computational biology, and applied genetics. He currently serves as a Scientific Administrator at Weill Cornell Medicine in New York, where he supports and manages complex scientific programs, helping drive collaboration and innovation across research initiatives.

Previously, Caragiulo worked as a Principal Scientist at Embark Veterinary, where he led a team focused on developing and refining algorithms for ancestry, haplotype mapping, and relationship prediction. His work contributed to improving the accuracy and scalability of genetic insights in the field of consumer and veterinary genomics.

Before transitioning to industry, Caragiulo spent nearly a decade at the American Museum of Natural History, where he held the role of Assistant Director of Genomics Operations. In this capacity, he played a key role in expanding genomic research capabilities, including contributing to large-scale grant-funded initiatives and helping establish advanced laboratory infrastructure for the study of ancient biomolecules.

Caragiulo earned his Ph.D. in Biology from Fordham University, along with a graduate certificate in Conservation Biology. His academic and professional work reflects a strong commitment to scientific research, interdisciplinary collaboration, and the application of genomics to better understand biological diversity and evolution.
