Anny Pang Yuen RHIA, CCS,CCDS, CDIP

Anny Pang Yuen is an experienced Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA), Certified Coding Specialist (CCS), Certified Clinical Documentation Specialist (CCDS), and Certified Documentation Improvement Practitioner (CDIP) professional. Yuen has implemented and re-invigorated many CDI and HIM departments nationwide as a consultant. She has also held leadership positions at major health systems in Philadelphia.

Yuen is an active member of AHIMA and the Association of Clinical Documentation Improvement Specialists (ACDIS). She served on the ACDIS Advisory Board from 2015 to 2018 and continues to be a recognized HIM, CDI and revenue cycle subject matter expert. She is currently the co-chair of the AHIMA CDI Practice Council and an active member of the AHIMA Item Writing and Exam Development Committee for the RHIA, CCS, CCA and CDIP credentials.

Yuen has contributed to many white papers, practice briefs and journal articles within the HIM/CDI community. She is also the author of First Steps in Outpatient CDI: Tips and Tools for Building a Program and the co-author of The Complete Guide to CDI Management.
