Annie D. Lu is an experienced Nurse Practitioner with expertise in diabetes, orthopedic care, education, as well as administrative management. Annie values collaborative innovation and is an advocate for quality patient and family experience. She has provided direct clinical care to individuals in New York City across various inpatient and outpatient settings. Annie is also a published author and presenter in the areas of diabetes, orthopedics, and health promotion with a special interest in stress management.

Aside from her clinical and academic pursuits, she has a longstanding dedication to voluntarism, including serving three terms as President of Nurse Practitioners of New York, guest presenter in community health fair events. Annie is dually certified in Advanced Diabetes Management and as an Adult Nurse Practitioner. Her clinical and leadership abilities had been recognized through multiple honors, including the New York Times Tribute to Nurses, Nurse Practitioner of Distinction, and Nursing Research awards.
