Annie Cemo PhD

Dr. Annie Pardo Cemo is a Professor Emeritus in the Department of Cellular Biology with 51 years of academic seniority at UNAM. Her Laboratory is the Pulmonary Pathology of Fibrosing Diseases Laboratory. Her main lines of research are cellular and molecular mechanisms involved in the pathogenesis of lung fibrosing diseases and the role of matrix metalloproteases in the pathophysiology of chronic-degenerative lung diseases. 

She is a professor of the courses of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology of the Cell.
