Dr. Annetty Soto comes to the University of Florida as a clinical assistant professor after completing the Geriatric Dental Medicine fellowship at Boston University and Boston Medical Center. For a number of years, Dr. Soto worked as a general dentist for the Community Health Center of Cape Cod, MA treating wheelchair-bound and special needs patients.
Dr. Soto completed postgraduate professional development courses at the Harvard Macy Institute on the clinician’s educator’s track. Dr. Soto graduated in 2006 received cum laude Dental degree from the Universidad Autonoma de Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, and in 2008 earned Certificates of Advanced Graduate Study in Fixed, Removal, and Implant Assisted Dental Prosthesis and Dental Esthetics Restorations from the Universidad del Salvador in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Dr. Soto is involved in research that relates to clinical care, oral diseases care and dental treatment and management of older adult patients as well as medically compromised adults.
