Annette Vegas MD

Dr. Annette Vegas Annette graduated from medical school at McGill University (Montreal) and completed an anesthesia residency at the University of Toronto. She concluded a cardiac anesthesia fellowship at Toronto General Hospital, where she has practiced since 1994. She is an attending staff in the TGH cardiovascular intensive care unit. She has an interest in echocardiography and has developed web-based educational materials (http://pie.med.utoronto.ca) for teaching both transesophageal and transthoracic echocardiography. Annette has extensively published journal articles and book chapters
