Dr. Annette Rogge studied human medicine at the Christian-Albrechts-Universität zu Kiel from 1997 to 2004. In 2010 she became a specialist in neurology and senior physician at the Neurological Center of the Segeberger Kliniken, where she founded a Clinical Ethics Committee to accompany her clinical work and obtained her doctorate at the Charité on neurosonographic imaging of the cerebral media and anterior. In 2013 she acquired the additional designation of palliative medicine. Since 2016, she has been working as Senior Physician for Clinical Ethics at the UKSH, Campus Kiel. In this context, she implemented Clinical Ethics Counselling and organized the establishment of a Clinical Ethics Committee. Since the foundation of the Ethics Committee in 2017, she has been acting as its managing director.
