Dr. Annemarie graduated from Bristol University in 2003 and trained in the South West, London and Wessex before moving to Edinburgh in 2009. She undertook a Masters in Public Health (MPH) 2013-14, and a Ph.D. (2014-2017) examining optimal care practices for patients who are admitted to ICU with pre-existing cardiovascular disease. She was an ECAT SCREDS Clinical Lecturer until she finished her joint training in Intensive Care Medicine and Anaesthesia.
