Anne Powell MD

Dr. Anne Powell serves as the Division Chief of Adolescent Medicine at the University of Massachusetts Children’s Medical Center. She has been providing specialty care as well as primary care for adolescents since she joined the UMass faculty in 2008. Dr. Powell has particular expertise in the care of adolescents suffering from eating disorders. She is active in medical education and serves as an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics for the UMass Chan Medical School. When not practicing adolescent medicine, she is busy raising her own 3 teenage daughters. In her free time, Dr. Powell enjoys competing in the sport of Olympic-style weightlifting and loves teaching her patients about the healing power of strength training.
