Dr. Anne Marie Morse is the Director of Child Neurology and Pediatric Sleep Medicine at Janet Weis Children’s Hospital – Geisinger (Danville, Pennsylvania) and associate professor at Geisinger Commonwealth School of Health Sciences.
As an avid educator, she established and serves as the Program Director of the Child Neurology Residency program, is a distinguished member of the Geisinger Academy of Educators, and a resident-nominated and inducted member of the Alpha Omega Alpha honor society. She has significant clinical experience and interest in pediatric and adult patients with sleep-wake disorders, particularly central disorders of hypersomnolence. In addition, her research interests extend more broadly to include investigating the relationship of sleep with neurologic disease. Some of her current research involvement includes participation in studies evaluating novel therapies and survey strategies for hypersomnolence disorders, neurodevelopment and sleep, and neurocognitive outcomes related to sleep apnea.
In addition, Dr Morse’s commitment to sleep health extends beyond typical clinical or research investment. Dr. Morse is an internationally recognized key opinion leader in sleep medicine with a unique reputation as the physician champion for patient advocacy and patient-directed care, especially for those with central disorders of hypersomnolence. She serves as an advisor or Board Member for Hypersomnia Foundation, American Sleep Apnea Association, Project Sleep, PWN4PWN, Sleep Research Society Foundation, Pulse Infoframe, and Sleep Consortium.
