Anne-marie Bougeard MA, MBBS, MRCP, FRCA

Dr Bougeard trained at the University of Oxford and University College London Medical Schools. She gained experience in Acute and Emergency Medicine in the UK and Australia before undertaking Anaesthetic training in Wessex and is currently ST5. She has until recently been a less than full time trainee, with two young children, and taken time out of programme to work in Obstetric Anaesthesia in Western Australia.

Dr Bougeard’s interest in Perioperative Medicine comes from her background in Medicine. She is studying for an MSc in Perioperative Medicine and believes that harnessing the enthusiasm of trainees for perioperative medicine and training anaesthetists as perioperative specialists is key to a sustained and long term improvement in patient
