Provider Overview Full Bio Dr. Manicone, assistant professor of medicine, is board certified in pulmonary and critical care medicine. She attends in the Medical Intensive Care Unit and Inpatient Pulmonary Consult Service at the University of Washington. She is a member of the Center for Lung Biology and has a funded research program investigating the immune mechanisms of lung injury and repair. Through her research and clinical care, she hopes to identify new avenues to improve the health of those afflicted with pulmonary diseases.

Dr. Manicone graduated with honors from Johns Hopkins University and Cornell University Medical College. She completed her internal medicine residency at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and her Pulmonary and Critical Care Fellowship at the University of Washington.
