Anne C. Mosenthal MD, FACS

Dr. Anne Mosenthal is Professor and Chair of Surgery at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School. She completed her medical education in 1985 at Dartmouth Medical School and her surgical training in 1990 at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center. Since completing her fellowship in Surgical Critical Care at Massachusetts General Hospital in 1992, Dr. Mosenthal has devoted her career to academic surgery primarily as a trauma surgeon, critical care intensivist, and more recently as a palliative medicine physician. She is currently the Chief of the Division of Surgical Palliative Care. She holds three board certifications in Surgery, Surgical Critical Care, and Hospice and Palliative Medicine.
