Anna Wolska is a Staff Scientist in the Lipoprotein Metabolism Laboratory at the NHLBI. Anna Wolska's research here is focused on two major areas that have a direct impact on patients, namely the development of new cardiovascular risk biomarkers and new treatments for hyperlipidemia. Anna Wolska an inventor on multiple US patents for new therapies for hyperlipidemia. One of her therapies for lowering plasma lipids has been licensed by a major pharmaceutical company.

Anna Wolska also volunteers as a Communications Officer for American Association for Clinical Chemistry and as a host of the Lupus Science and Medicine podcast for the Lupus Foundation of America. Anna Wolska really enjoys using her knowledge of science to communicate its importance and its benefits in terms of new treatments to the general public.
