Anna Ten Napel RN, MS, NP

Anna ten Napel is the vice president of care management and performance improvement for Catholic Health Services of Long Island. Working for CHSLI for over 34 years, Dr. tenNapel is currently responsible for overseeing care management, transitions of care, and population health initiatives for patients throughout the organization. Her performance improvement role includes assisting all CHSLI entities in meeting Joint Commission and other regulatory requirements by maintaining a sound knowledge of Joint Commission standards and Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services/Department of Health and Human Services regulations.

Her passion for education is evidenced in her role as she trains and educates all levels of staff in robust process improvement and change management. She holds certification as a Master Change Leader. Dr. tenNapel is also a registered nurse, is licensed as a nurse practitioner in gerontology, holds certification in Six Sigma as a black belt, and holds a doctorate in nursing research.
