Dr. Anna Nowak-Wegrzyn is a board-certified pediatric allergist and immunologist specializing in the prevention, diagnosis, and management of food allergies and allergic diseases in children. She serves as Professor of Pediatrics at NYU Grossman School of Medicine and Director of the Division of Pediatric Allergy and Immunology at Hassenfeld Children's Hospital at NYU Langone Health.

Dr. Nowak-Wegrzyn earned her Doctor of Medicine (MD) from Jagiellonian University in Poland, completed her Pediatric Residency at the University of Maryland Medical Center, and pursued a Fellowship in Allergy and Immunology at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. She later earned a PhD from the University of Warmia & Mazury. She is board-certified by the American Board of Allergy & Immunology.

An internationally recognized expert in pediatric food allergy, Dr. Nowak-Wegrzyn's clinical and research interests include food allergy, anaphylaxis, food protein-induced enterocolitis syndrome (FPIES), oral and epicutaneous immunotherapy, asthma, atopic dermatitis, allergic rhinitis, drug allergy, and urticaria. She has led numerous clinical trials and authored hundreds of peer-reviewed publications that have significantly advanced the understanding and treatment of food allergies in children.

Dr. Nowak-Wegrzyn is dedicated to providing compassionate, family-centered care while advancing innovative strategies for allergy prevention and treatment. She also serves in leadership roles within the allergy and immunology community, including the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology (AAAAI).
