Anna Merino Gonzalez MD, PhD

Anna MerinoHe graduated in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Barcelona in 1980 and is a specialist in Clinical Analysis (MIR in Hospital Clínic) since 1984. Since then he has worked in the Hospital Clínic of Barcelona in different areas of the Hematology Laboratory. He obtained the title of Doctor in Medicine and Surgery in 1988 from the University of Barcelona. In 1990 he obtained a post-doctoral fellowship from the Ministry of Education and Science and completed a one-and-a-half-year stint at the University of California, San Francisco. During the last years his assistance and teaching work has been developed in the area of ​​hematological cytology. He currently works in the Core Laboratory of the Hospital Clínic, Hemotherapy and Hemostasis Service, Biomedical Diagnostic Center.
