Anna Maruyama BSc, MSc, PharmD

Anna Maruyama is an instructor in Palliative Care Pharmacy at Continuing Studies at UVic and is also a clinical pharmacy specialist in intensive care at the Royal Jubilee Hospital in Victoria, BC. Anna has worked as a pharmacist for 20 years in a variety of practice settings in the community and in hospitals across Canada. She received her Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy and doctorate (PharmD) at the University of British Columbia, and her Masters of Science in Health Information Science at the University of Victoria. She's had a long interest in palliative care medicine across treatment settings and has completed additional training in the field.
