Anna Katharina Trocha MD, PhD

Anna Katharina Trocha has studied medicine at RWTH Aachen and at Heinrich-Heine University of Düsseldorf. She worked in the Department of Nutrition and Metabolic Diseases (WHO-Collaborating Center for Diabetes) Professor Dr. M. Berger, University of Düsseldorf, in the in- and outpatient care of patients with diabetes as well as with Typ 1 diabetic patients with nephropathy and hypertension during her PhD thesis. Her present appointment is Assistant Medical Director at the Clinic for Diabetology Elisabeth-Krankenhaus and at Diabetes Outpatient Care Centre in Essen.

Anna Katharina Trocha has been managing the inpatient and outpatient treatment center of the Department of Diabetology at the Elisabeth Hospital in Essen. Since 1985, the Diabetes Center in the heart of the Ruhr Area has been the reference center for the treatment and training of people with diabetes mellitus type 1 and type 2. Since 2001, people with diabetic foot syndrome Trocha treated on an outpatient and inpatient basis.
