Anna K. Junk MD

Dr. Junk received a Bachelor of Science degree from Münchenkolleg in Munich, Germany and a Doctor of Medicine degree from Ludwig-Maximilians Universität also in Munich. She completed an ophthalmology residency at Montefiore Medical Center at Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Bronx, New York, and another ophthalmology residency at Ludwig-Maximilians Universität. She completed a glaucoma fellowship at Wills Eye Hospital at Jefferson College of Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Dr. Junk joined the University of Miami Bascom Palmer Eye Institute, Miami, Florida, in 2006. She holds a joined appointment at the Miami Veterans Administration Medical Center in Miami. Her clinical and research interests are focused on glaucoma, glaucoma pathophysiology, novel glaucoma therapies, and cataract.
